The safety and well-being of our staff and guests have always been paramount at The Jefferson, Washington, DC and remains our focus as we begin to welcome you back to our hotel.

The cleanliness of our guest rooms, dining outlets and public spaces has always been, and continues to be an essential component to The Jefferson hotel experience. Upon your return you can expect hand sanitizing stations and an upgraded air filtration system throughout the property. Additionally, we ask that you vacate your room while it is being serviced by our housekeeping team and request that you indicate your preferred time on the preference sheet that you received prior to your arrival.

We continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC and will remain in compliance with any mandates that are released through the mayor’s office.

Please note that as of July 31, 2021, masks must be worn while inside regardless of vaccination status. During your stay, should you need COVID-19 testing for any reason, a member of our team will be able to assist locating a testing site within the city or can arrange for you to visit with our on-call physician.
