Today we say, “Cheers” to you, Washington, DC with an update on some of the amazing cocktails that our team has been working on at Quill. Wait, what? You haven’t been to our cocktail lounge and bar? We hope you’ll fix that, immediately and come in to try some of the amazing new concoctions that our incredible staff has been working on.
Celebrating Women Behind the Bar!
Did you know the March was Women’s History Month? In celebration of all the fantastic females out there, our bartenders at Quill, Rachel & Sophie were recently asked by DC lifestyle blog, Brightest Young Things to create cocktails based on inspirational women.

A Monster Success
Last night we had the privilege of attending the opening of Monster Fish: In Search of the Last River Giants at the National Geographic Museum right across the street! This exhibit, which is now open to the public features crazy river fish that you hope to never actually run into.
We’ve teamed up with the museum at Quill to present What Lurks Below. A cocktail made with Rum, Cognac, Peach Brandy, Lemon Juice and Ginger Syrup and is topped with a Sliced Peach, Sweet Wine Pearls and Blades of Lemongrass. It was a hit last night at the opening and will be available in Quill through the end of April.
