The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden will be hosting the largest site-specific exhibition to date by abstract painter Pat Steir. Beginning on October 24th, these works will transform the second-floor inner-circle galleries into an immersive colorful experience for every visitor. Steir is best known for creating a macro color wheel that shifts hues with each painting. This exhibition will include 28 large-scale paintings that extend nearly four hundred linear feet.
The exhibition will run through September 7, 2020 and admission is free to the public. For more information click here.
