April 8, 2010: American Beauty with Peay Vineyards
A first-generation family winery located along the Sonoma Coast of California, Peay Vineyards was named "Winery of the Year" by San Francisco Chronicle and exemplifies the American wine-making tradition that Thomas Jefferson fostered. Joined by Andy Peay – a former Wall Street analyst who traded the adrenalin of the finance world for an equally harrowing endeavor in winemaking – the evening will be an opportunity to sample a range of superb stateside vintages. Please contact Michael Scaffidi at (202) 448-3233 for more information or to make a reservation.
The evening’s five-course dinner, prepared by Plume’s Executive Chef Damon Gordon, will be complemented by wine pairings from the Peay Vineyard. Please join us at 6:45 p.m. for a welcome reception, followed by a sit-down dinner at 7:15 p.m.
To ensure an intimate setting for meaningful conversation, we have limited the gathering to 20 guests at a cost of $195 per person. Please let us know by March 25th if you plan to attend by emailing Michael Scaffidi at mscaffidi@jeffersondc.com or by calling 202.448.2300. |
