Each of The Jefferson hotel's meeting rooms is individually designed, and each is named after one of Thomas Jefferson's favorite spaces at his beloved Monticello. They include three small meeting rooms, a boardroom, a private dining room and several parlor-like spaces. The largest accommodates 80 and the smallest no more than three. Catering is provided by one of the world's culinary stars – our Executive Chef, Chris Jakubiec. The Jefferson's event capabilities are supported by a full array of business services and equipment. The Gallatin Room is The Jefferson's largest meeting space at 689 square feet. This room hosts gatherings and events of up to 80 for receptions or 40 for sit-down meals. The room can be partitioned into two smaller rooms – the East and West Gallatin, for smaller groups. Accented in reds and golds, this inviting space is richly detailed down to the picture frame moldings that enhance the walls and the coffered ceilings inset with crystal chandeliers. |
Large windows line the room's wall along 16th Street, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the room. Should a darker environment be required for audio/visual needs, electronic room-darkening shades can be lowered at the touch of a button. The Gallatin Room has two projection screens that descend from either side of the room and offers both wired and wireless Internet access. The projection screens, standard-speed Internet connections and even an LCD projector are offered on a complimentary basis within the room, creating a tremendous value for meeting planners. |
The Parlor Boardroom at 496 square feet is handsomely designed for high-powered parleys of up to 18 participants around an impressively grand, polished wood table crowned by tall, taper-like chandeliers. The room's deep green walls are accented in gold and the parquet flooring is modeled after that in the parlor of Thomas Jefferson's beloved Monticello. Windows along both 16th and M Streets allow natural light to fill the room. |

In order to make meetings as seamless as possible, The Parlor Boardroom features a projection screen that descends from the ceiling as well as an LCD projector that rises from within the table. Electrical and Internet connections are handled through pop-up towers at either end of the table and connecting a laptop for presentation purposes is a simple as connecting a cable. With the use of a hand-held touch pad, the presentation coordinator has control of all aspects of the room, from the room darkening shades, to the dimmable lighting. As in all meeting spaces at The Jefferson, projection screens, standard-speed Internet connections and LCD projectors are offered on a complimentary basis. |

The Book Room is a library inspired by Thomas Jefferson's love of literature. Here, surrounded by leather-bound books on Jeffersonian subjects, guests can slip into a cozy, 54-square-foot nook accommodating four for an impromptu tête à tête. |
The Private Cellar, inspired by Jefferson's passion for wine, is the hotel's private dining room. Here parties of up to 22 can sample the culinary talents of Chef jakubiec beneath a plaster groin-vaulted ceiling. The room is 297 square feet and has walls that are lined with wine display cabinets and private wine lockers. In the corner sits a dumbwaiter, fashioned after Jefferson's own design at Monticello, delivers vintages from our impressive cellar of more than 1,000 labels directly to the table. |

Ideal for business interviews and even personal proposals, the East Jefferson Cabinet (117 square feet) accommodates three, and the West Jefferson Cabinet (180 square feet) no more than four, behind discreet pocket doors. McKenney Hall Indian engravings from the 19th century grace the walls, while built-in flat panel televisions let in news and entertainment from the outside world at guests' discretion.
